Data Refresh Frequency and Volume
How often Shovels updates its data and the volume of new information
Shovels currently refreshes data twice a month, typically on the 1st and 15th of each month. We have plans to move to weekly updates by the end of the year. Nationwide, between five and ten million new records are added to the dataset each month, along with one to five million status updates to existing records. This regular refresh cycle ensures that customers have access to current and comprehensive permit data.
